Estate Planning Law:
Estate planning covers a wide range of documents that state your wishes during your lifetime and after your passing. For instance, you may want a Last Will and Testament or a Living Trust to direct what happens to your belongings after you pass away. You might also need a deed prepared to transfer real estate after your death. Or, while you are alive, you may want a financial or medical power of attorney to direct who would assist you with financial or medical matters if you become ill and cannot handle these things yourself. All of these documents fall under the heading of “estate planning” and, by having them in place, you have peace of mind knowing that your affairs in order.
